Permission to climb granted!

Fangatave Beach is part of the King’s estate and holds special significance for the King. It was once the location of the Ana Kula palace, which was situated above the cliffs overlooking the coast just south of the beach.

After two years of discussion and negotiation, we are now happy to announce that the King will allow climbers to access the cliffs for the purpose of recreational rock climbing.

Access is conditional however on climbers signing a disclaimer and paying a land management levy of T$20.
